There is more than one way to race together
In the Pits directory, you can get to know established teams, communities around a streamer and groups taking their first laps together. A Pit is their community space on PitRivals: start with the description, language, racing categories and latest activity.
Velocity Live
Milo's streaming community. We share Sports Car and Formula races, talk about our sessions on Discord and welcome drivers who want company on track.
Aurora Apex Racing
A team focused on GT3 endurance. We prepare races together, coordinate stints on Discord and also share shorter races during the week.
Summit Grid Racing
A small group getting started together. We race Sports Car and Oval regularly, learn at our own pace and are looking for people to share everyday races with.
Read what each group says about itself. A public Pit is an invitation to get to know its community; ask its managers about current opportunities to join a racing team.
Can you picture yourself racing with them?
Open a Pit to understand the group beyond its name. Its categories, description, members and recorded racing activity help you see whether you share the same interests. If it has affiliated iRacing teams, you can also explore their rosters and team results.

What to look for
- The same categories and racing interests
- Sports Car, Formula, Oval… Check the configured categories, then look at the cars and series in their activity to understand what their drivers race.
- Endurance, everyday races or a bit of both
- Their description and results give you context. Ask about schedules, how often they race and whether they organize endurance lineups or simply enjoy sharing daily sessions.
- People you would enjoy racing with
- Explore the members, their profiles and performance cards. The language, atmosphere and shared goals matter as much as the numbers.

Once drivers connect iRacing, available recent results synchronize automatically and periodically. Activity reflects the races PitRivals has recorded; contact the community to confirm its plans and schedules.
Let your performance card introduce you
Your performance card brings together racing, qualifying, consistency and clean driving in a visual summary, with an overall score, iRating and race count. Share your public card or driver profile so a team can get to know your performance at a glance.
You can also look at other drivers' cards to get a feel for the group. Read the category, period and race count alongside the scores, then talk about your goals and availability: finding people to race with goes beyond a single number.
Connect iRacing and keep racing. PitRivals calculates and updates your card automatically as recorded races are processed, without entering each result by hand. Once the minimum race count is reached, the official annual card can be viewed publicly.
Start a conversation before your first race together
Use the Discord or social links the Pit has published to introduce yourself, ask how the group works and share your profile or card. Each community chooses which channels it makes available.
Ask about time zones, cars, race frequency, expectations and any places on a team. Ask whether the community or team is currently welcoming new drivers.
Hi! I race GT3 and would love to meet people for endurance and some weekday races. I saw your community on PitRivals. Here is my driver profile with my performance card. What times do you usually race, and could I get to know the group?
When you find your group, take the next step
Sign in to PitRivals to join a Pit. Its access setting tells you whether you can join directly or need approval.
Open Pits
You can join the community directly without waiting for approval. Use its contact channels to introduce yourself and discover how to take part.
Pits with approval
Send an access request and introduce yourself in its message. You become a member once a manager approves it; while you wait, use the published channels to get to know the group.
Joining a Pit means joining its community on PitRivals. Joining an official iRacing team is a separate step that you arrange with its managers.
