Your digital security is important. It’s normal to have doubts before linking your account to a new platform. Here’s why you can do so with confidence.
1. A global standard
PitRivals does not store passwords. We use OAuth 2.0, the same security standard you use when choosing “Sign in with Google or Microsoft”. In this case, authentication is handled directly by iRacing.
2. The official process
When you click connect, we redirect you to the official iRacing portal. Once there, iRacing will ask you whether you want to grant permissions to PitRivals.
3. Our Guarantees
No Passwords
Our servers never see or store your iRacing password. The security of your access is fully managed by iRacing.com.
Read Only
The requested permissions are read-only and are used exclusively to retrieve your iRating, licenses, race results, and your user profile.
Full Control
You can delete or disconnect your profile from PitRivals in your profile settings. If you have decided not to return, we also recommend revoking access from iRacing.
